A mother Oystereater bird walks around us squarking and warning us away from her two babies which are near by with their other parent. This was while Jill and I were walking along the beach at Pukehina, Bay of Plenty recently.

I know how you felt Dave. I recently got chased by an angry Pukeko at Hamilton Lake who I think was worried I was going to make off with her young ones :)
